Please help me

I called my travel agent to book a ticket to Japan. I have a fixed date while going. however, I'm not sure if I'd like to stay there more or come back early and so I told myagent that I'd like a flexible ticket while returning. is it right? Is there any possible ways to say this is american english?

Thanks a lot
