The table shows the proportions of management positions held by women in specific industries in an European country in 2006.

Overall, it is unequivocally that hospitality was the field in which women held the most management roles. Also noticeable is that CEO was the postion that had the fewest female holders in all fields, exccept for hospitality.

Looking more closely at the table, more than a third of managers in the hospitality industry was women, more than any other ones. This remain the case for excecutives and CEOs, roughly 20% each, higher than other fields combined. In addition, only less than 2% of the CEOS in the Finance and Manufacturing fields are females, remarkably less than in the other two industries, IT and hospitality. In the executive position, there was the same pattern, resulting in Manufacturing being the field with the least women holding management positions, only nearly 12% in total.
