I would be really appreciated if you could take time to correct my exercise. Thanks a lot!
After the car had run out of oil and got stuck in the middle of a shallow pool of water, we all got out. We tried to get it out of water by pushing it, but no matter how hard we pushed, the big chunk of metal just would not move a little bit. We figured we needed assistance, so we walked all the way to the next village which was an awful 15 miles away. As soon as we got there, we forgot about our exhaustness and started to look for a taxi which could help pull our car. Hearing our request, no driver was will to make a deal with us, for they all refused to take us back to the rough road we had come from. We had to pay a large sum to rent a jeep. The mighty vehicle could certainly manage any terrible road condition and we returned to the pool in no time. We attached a hawser to the broken car, started the jeep’s engine and began pulling it out of water. The car was examined closely immediately it came to the dry land. We refilled the engine with some oil we had brought and saw anxiously if it could continue going. A harsh noise came out from inside the engine and what we had worried about happened. The engines had been badly damaged. Much to our surprise, Bruce, who had been driving at a terrifying speed, did not seem to be in the least upset.
