Please help me correct the essay below in terms of word choice, formality and grammar.
Exciting and meaningful summer in our school is an annual program every summer. After a long school year, pioneers and teens have been elatedly waiting for the special summer program series.
Bringing into play the success of last summer, our school this year continues organizing many interesting and useful extracurricular activities. The kids did have exciting moments with physical activities and living skill class instead of time watching TV or playing games.
In addition to school activities such as swimming and football playing skill class, there are also team building activities and especially charitable activities; visiting and presenting gifts to the orphans and the disabled children. Ending the exciting summer 2012 at the school will be a free fantastic trip to a theme park before entering a new school year with new aspirations.
So far, the school has not only been the pioneer in teaching English in this province but also is the place where many entertaining learning activities associated with practical life. The success of the special summer program will be the motivation for the Board of management, as well as all the teachers and staff continue implementing the summer program 2013 with more practical and meaningful activities.
