Please help correct my essay

Successful sports professionals can earn a great deal more money than people in other important professions. Some people think this is fully justified while others think it is unfair.

Discuss both of these views and give your own opinion.

In recent years, sport industry has been under spotlight and the incredibly high income of those who working in this field has never failed to attract people’s attention. The question of whether outstanding sport professionals are eligible to be paid more decent salary has aroused an increasing controversy from many people in the world. From my own perspective, it is reasonable for them to reap such rewards for their passion and great effort.

On the one hand, there are several inevitable reasons that talented athletes deserve to receive a handsome income. First, this is no doubt that great athletes must have super physiques obtained through intense physical training and extremely strict discipline. Furthermore, by their hardworking and persistence, they participate in many international sport events which will help enhance a better national image as well as promote a sportsmanlike attitude towards young generation. A good case in point is Nguyen Anh Vien or Hoang Xuan Vinh who are now an idol of many Vietnamese youngsters for their effort and great contribution to the national sports. More importantly, it is undeniable that their privacy are sometimes invaded by paparazzi and thereby they are unintentionally face a considerable pressure from the public attention.

On the other hand, people working in other fields such as science or education like nurses, doctors, teachers also play an instrumental role in the development of the society. This means that teachers not only disseminate scientific knowledge to students but also inspire them to become a law-abiding citizen with great dedication to their homeland. Likewise, practitioners can assist people develop their full consciousness of hygiene, nutritional values, promote longevity. Thus, with the profound contribution to the entire society, an offer of competitive salary for them is necessary; without these crucial professions, our society would be in trouble and would stop progressing.

In conclusion, admittedly, the hardship and pressure those sportsmen bear during their working lives should be complimented. The governments and authorities should offer them a better incentives; meanwhile they should not ignore the roles that other professions are undertaking. By doing so, we can make sure a sustainable development of a society.
