Topic: The pie charts compare ways of accessing the news in Canada and Australia.

My essay:

The pie charts illustrate five primary methods of finding out news in two different nations namely Canada and Australia.

Overall, it is clear that getting up-to-date information through TV and online platforms are the two most common ways in both countries while not specified sources are the least taken approach.

Regarding the Internet, 36% of Canadians use it to access the news, compared to over a half of Australians. Most people in Canada make use of TV, accounting for 40% of the population, which is 3% higher than the percentage in Australia.

In terms of print media, it takes up 14% of the total proportion in Canada, exactly doubling the figure for Australian residents. Moreover, the rate of Canadians obtaining news via radio and unknown sources stands at 7% and 3% respectively. Whereas, the percentage of inhabitants in Australia using these two methods is just 2%.
