The graph makes comparisons of how people bought and drank coffee and tea in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, and Hobart in the last four weeks.

Overall, it is clear that most citizens in those areas, except in Adelaide, preferred going to a coffeehouse to enjoy their drinks. Also noticeable is that fresh coffee was the least chosen option in all surveyed cities.

Looking closer at the chart, one can see that the proportions of people going to cafés were relatively the same in Sydney, Melbourne, and Hobart, at over 60%. In Adelaide, however, about half of people surveyed bought instant coffee in the last month, and almost as many people there chose cafés to drink in.

Considering fresh coffee purchasing in more detail, it is evident that only one-third of people in Brisbane and Adelaide enjoyed this habit, remarkably less than in the other areas. The cities where over 40% of the residents bought fresh coffee are Sydney and Melbourne.
