Please help

...when suddenly the noise of something crashing down sounds from the shed. Nick walks over and just as he opens the door to the shed, a cat jumps out. Nick looks into the shed. It's crammed with junk.

Is the highlighted part phrased okay and does it fit to the context where it's a shed crammed with junk?

Top answer

anonymous highlighted part I would tighten that up a bit. It's somewhat contradictory to use a long phrase to describe a sudden event. when suddenly a crash comes from the shed.
