Is it correct?

She came across a rarely-found and yet very valuable book on the subject of political law on a website. It helped her thesis to stand out among hundreds of it.

By the way, its rarity is no indication of its value as a reference, so "yet" has no support. And compound adjectives with an adverb in "-ly" do not take a hyphen: "rarely found".
