Which one is correct? Many thx!
1. She was invited to come for interview but she evaded the invitation.
2. She was invited to come for interview but she did not give a direct answer.

I'd use "ignored", as shown above. This means she did not reply to the invitation.

This almost implies that she gave an indirect answer. That sounds like a reply of "Maybe I'll come"
