New Policy
Due to information overload and a rising incidence of employee burnout, we
are announcing a new policy. The policy affects all hourly and exempt
associates. Each employee will report to work five days each week for the first
three weeks of each four week period. During the fourth week, each employee
will work only four days. For instance, if the first Monday of the period falls on
Ma3, then each employee will work five days for the weeks of May 3, May 10
and May 17. During the week of May 24, each employee will only work four
days. We will begin this policy on September 1.
The Customer Help Desk must still provide coverage from Monday through
Saturday 8am to 8pm. The Customer Service Manager will work with the
Human Resources Department to see that this new policy is enacted within the
departmental scheduling requirements. Employee salaries will remain the same.
