Please Help

How is this for an evolving thesis statement in a compare/contrast paper on Benito Cereno and Frankenstein?

Both Benito Cereno and Frankenstein deal with questioning the line between human and sub-human, which seems mainly to be drawn by appearance alone. Both ‘the monster’, and the Africans aboard the San Dominick are regarded as less than human by the respective protagonists of the two books, but it seems that Victor Frankenstein regards his creation as at least more human than Captain Delano sees the slaves (as unintelligent and akin to animals).
