Please help!

i am an english teacher here in the Philippines. Currently, i am discussing to my students about adjective clauses. There is an instance that one of my students asked me if adjectival clause can be considered as appositive and if not how could they determine if one is a noun clause( functions as appositive) or an adjective clause. I told them that i would hold a discussion about that some other time. I have read so many reference books and even searched a reliable website to equipped me with enough info but still i find it difficult to differentiate the two. Could you give me a precise and more understandable explaination about this.

looking forward for your response.

thank you

This question is so involved that it almost seems like an invitation to a philosophical debate. Could you give us a couple of examples of what you're talking about? Then maybe someone can step up with a solid answer.
