Please help

Mount Kilimanjaro rises some 5896 meters (over 19300 feet) above the heat of Tanzania's plains almost as a challenge to be conquered, but it is not for the light of heart.

Could you tell me the meaning of 'for the light of heart' in general?

I think the text uses the wrong idiom; what is intended is probably 'not for the faint of heart'. 'Faint of heart' means timid or squeamish. 'Light of heart' is not a common phrase, but it would mean 'light-hearted' (cheerful, happy).
