Please help

Please correct the sentence below.

"Tighten the adjustment nut to a point immediately before the torque lever starts moving."

or should it be

"Tighten the adjustment nut to a point immediately before where the torque lever starts moving." ?

What I want to say is the adjustment nut should be tightened to a certain point that does not make the lever moving, but if you tighten a little more, the lever starts moving.

"The adjustment nut should be tightened until just before the torque lever starts to move."

would probably be a better way of phrasing it.

Hi,

I suggest this.

"Tighten the adjustment nut until the torque lever starts to move. Then back it off very slightly."

Best wishes, Clive
