please have a look at my sentence

Hi. Please have a look at my sentence and help me to correct the errors. I wrote this sentence for the beginning of my essay. Thank you very much.

To me, life is very much like a rainbow. It is full of colours, warm and cold, sorrowful and cheerful; and the most splendid moment often appears when a smile shines through teardrops

My opinion is that in a rainbow there are many colours: warm (red, yellow, orange), and cold( green, blue, purple); cheerful (red, orange) and sorrowful ( blue, purple) (that's my own feeling); and life is like a rainbow. The rainbow is caused when sun shines through raindrops, just like the most wonderful moment in life appears when your smile shines through the tea

But in my culture, we usually just associate rainbows with hope and beauty.
