When a person carries excess weight or body fat, they are getting overweight. In VN, from 1980 to 2013, the obesity, overweight rates increased to 27.5% in adults and 47.1% in children. This is a difficult problem with many serious effects on physical condition. That leads to the level’s decrease of heath and fitness.

One of the chief causes to obesity is diet. People consume too much calories in a day. Young people usually expend food which contains foods are high in carbohydrate, processed meat, sweetened juices, sodas, alcoholic drinks and so on.These products have a huge amount of fructose, included in savory items. Besides, some people eat packaged or canned food instead of having meals properly. They eat out often, usually in fast food restaurants. Fried food is oily also, and because people tend to eat more often than in the past. Fat people can’t reject junk food because of losing controls in eating habit, the same happens to who is addicted to alcoholic drinks. People are still at risk of increasing weight if they do not have a balanced diet, even when they supply to their body lots of vegetables and fruits.

The average weight will continue to increasingly gain if people don’t react drastically to put a stop to obesity. To reduce excess energy out of the body, people have to regulate their portion, in order to keep a balanced diet. They also try not to consume more food than our body needs, change working and eating habits. In addition, people should avoid and give up smoking cigarettes, sleep well and not eat too much junk food.

To conclude, it’s true that the number of obese people is on the rise. This problem can be tackled by sensible changes to our lifestyle and habit.
