Since the client failed to perform the payment, the default of the client has occurred, which results in consequences to pay the lawful late-payment interest.

Is the underlined par (gramatically) okay? remark: legal wordings "lawful late-payment interest" etc are okay and eligible in my country. This is just a question about grammar Emotion: smile
