The presented line graph illustrates how many times three different kinds of fast foods eaten by adolescents changed over a twenty-five-year period starting from 1975 in Australia.
It can be clearly seen that the amount of fish and chips consumed plummeted significantly. In contrast, both pizza and hamburgers had a dramatic increase.
Initially, 100 times fish and chips was used by young Australian. Although some slight fluctuations occurred, there was a remarkable fall of 60 percent in this type of food at the end.
On the other hand, the frequency of pizza and hamburgers were almost 10 in 1975. The speed of rising in consumption of hamburgers was sharper. It rocketed to more than 80 times in 1985, whilst pizza approximately tripled at the same time. The upward trend continued until 1995, so they went up to around 100 and 80 respectively. Both of them leveled off for the rest of the period.
