Most people have forgotten the meaning behind traditional or religious festivals; during festival periods, people nowadays only want to enjoy themselves.

To what extent do you agree or disagree with this opinion?

Traditional festivals are the precious spiritual assets of each country. Nevertheless, it is said that most people have forgotten the meaning behind traditional or religious festivals; during festival periods, people nowadays only want to enjoy themselves. In my thought, this opinion was not true at all.

It is undeniable that traditional festivals are still playing an important role in our society because they are fundermental activities that have the posibilty to connect people. In the ancient times, everyone always waited for the festivals organisation to enjoy the happy, bustle space among family and friends. It also time for relaxing and experiencing the most beautiful aspects and cutural traditions.

In the opposite side, few people thought that everybody now doesn't care about festivals much, why this view appeared? Probably because of life condition of each person nowadays is not similar to the past. They have to work harder to earn money for life and too busy to join the festivals. Due to this reason, they usually used the festival periods to take rest and relax after hard-working,busy times. In addtion, some kinds of festival now requires much devotion and sometimes money can be another strict thing. For instance, the Mid-autumn festival in Viet Nam, parents have to spend lots of money for beautiful lanterns and delicious moon cakes.

So don't judge them for bad reasons because there were lots of things beside that we have to consider carefully. Traditional and religious festivals are still take a vital role in most people. Everyone don't need to be afraid of their fading.
