Dear Newspaper Editor,
I am Hannah Thomas, and I am a fifth grader from 95th Street. I am writing reasons why homework can be a good thing and bad thing. The first reason homework is good because if you don't understand something in class you can go home and study it. The second reason homework is good because you can do it anywhere and anytime. The third reason homework is good because there's no limit and you learn alot. The last reason, homework is a good thing is it is an easy A. That are my reason's homework why homework is good. Now I will talk how it can be bad. I think that we should not have any homework because it gives us more time to do recreational activities. Such as, playing the Wii or anything else. It also causes unneeded confusion if you forget your homework. For example If I forgot my name the teacher may throw it away and there would have been no reason I did it. There is no essential meaning of homework except to keep you busy and your brain alive. Homework is not absolutely needed since it does not value as much credit as quizzes or tests.
