It is fine as written, billy. 'Settle payment' is a standard phrase. You should have the courtesy to take the time to spell out months, etc.

I got a question with the construction "find attached the invoice" don't know why, but it sounds very strange to me.

Why is 'attached' first and 'the' 2nd? I mostly place articles first and other adj. later. Is there a rule for it or just a matter of habit?

Example: a red ball. I wouldn't say red a ball. So why in this case attached comes first

First, it is a standard business-English fixed phrase - that is the main point, I think.

Second, the construction is not what you think it is:

Please find the invoice for your order attached to this letter

Find attached is a verb + adverb construction, I would say.

It should be "Please find, attached, the invoice for the charges, and, settle payment accordingly by 31 Dec." People are just so lazy to use a comma these days.

No, the commas are wrong. Would you write 'My wife, here, will take your coat'? I hope you are not writing your own business letters with them: you will draw strange looks.
