Please find a mistake

There is an exercise in the test, where I have to find a mistake in a given sentence.. and the sentence says:

"The competition, which results were announced today, may kick the team out of the league"

The mistake is "which". Could you please explain, why? Thanks

Anonymous Could you please explain, why? Because 'which' is not possessive. The competition, whose results were announced today, may kick the team out of the league.

The competition, for which the results were announced today, may kick the team out of the league.
