Please explain this correctly

How would you write the following please?

If you press the small cup button on the espresso machine as opposed to the big cup button, you will get the same amount of caffeine in a small dose of content of coffee and if you press the big cup button, you will get a longer coffee diluted form for those who like American coffee. Either way the amount of caffeine in both will be the same.

Thank you

Perhaps this is better Whether you press the small or big cup button on the espresso machine, you get the same amount of caffeine; the only difference being that presssing the big cup button gives you a more watered-down coffee (American style coffee as you say). I believe that in the US you have to ask for a latte if you want to get a European style coffee.
