A professor at my university asked me about a grammar case I couldn't explain.
The case is the following: " Is the paper justified in making such claims, as appealing as they may be?"
And another one is : " Overstated though the importance of the event may have been, ..."
In the 1st case he wanted to know all grammar constructions and why they are used.
In the 2nd he asked about the usage of "overstated though" and "may have been."
Could u please help!
