It is quite controversial whether or not should the government should invest more money in science education rather than other subjects to develop the country. I partly disagree with this statement. There are 2 reasons for this.
To commence with, science subject plAys a crucial role in the modernized era. Science usually requires a high level of knowledge, expertise, and a focus on this area would lead to a new invention. As we know, scientists have created several inventions such as television, ventilator, the car... which are so significant to our lives that we can't exist without them. The application of science in different fields with result in a more productive and prosperous nation. One particularly salient example of this is that advanced technology applied in agriculture has brought considerable changes to farmers. Not only does equipment alter their parts but it also makes the crop more successful.
Equally importantly, art-based subjects are also indispensable for human beings. In my perspective, social subjects such as music, art, literature develop creative thinking skills and express the culture, customs, and history of a country. We are taken back to the past by these subjects so that we can comprehensively understand the contribution of heroes as well as their situations. Last but not least, if the government spent public money on science rather than other subjects, this would affect people's choice of profession. As far as I know, such fascination of people devoting their time to art, music, and literature that they would be extremely despaired if their interests didn't be elevated appreciate.
By way of conclusion, I once again reaffirm my position that both science and other subjects should be adequately educated in the curriculum and be invested bu the government as well.
