The maps show a road system as it is now and the proposed changes in future to reduce the number of accidents.

Summarise the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The diagrams illustrate some proposed changes to a road system in a specific area in order to lower the traffic accident figures.

It is clear that the principal change in this area will be the construction of a roundabout between Forest Road and City Road and traffic lights on City Road.

At present, there are various accidents frequently. One of the road traffic accident is situated near the school where City Road meets low lane. Therefore, it is suggested installing traffic lights to solve this problem as well as reducing the accidents which happen at the junction of low lane and Forest Road.

The another proposal is to build a big roundabout at the intersection of City Road and Forest Road where the accidents often take place. This also provides a new road to go to the supermarket. By contrast, the road system at the function of low lane and Forest Road will be no changes although some accidents often occur at present.
