Task 1
The diagram demonstrates the production of electricity by a geothermal power plant. In general, the process of producing geothermal energy involves five steps, starting with pumping down the cold water to an injection well and ending with the generation of electricity by a generator and distributing it
In the first step, cold water, which is stored in tanks on the ground, is pumped down to an injection well with the help of 4.5 KM long pipeline. This chilled water is then heated up by some hot rocks present in the geothermal zone. Once the water is hot enough, it is pumped up by an production well to a condenser for the further processing.
In this condenser, the hot water is turned into steam, which is used to provide power for the turbine later on. As the turbine rotates, the generator is powered by this movement, and as a result of this kinetic process, electricity is generated. This electricity is then trasferred to its destinations via towers.
Task 2
A few members of the society think that children who are allowed to make their own choices about daily life, can become self-centred and egotistical. Others, however, believe that it is essential for them to make decisions that impact their future life. This essay will explain that although children may develop a sense of selfishness by taking their own decisions, it will help them in becoming independent easily in future.
Some people say that deciding everyday matters may make children arrogant and selfish. When children are allowed to make choices about normal issues, for example food or clothes, they end up selecting things which are not useful for them, even on being advised by their parents not to do that. This makes them think that they had made correct choice, and they countinue to make the wrong options also in the future. As a result, it can generate a feeling of callousness in the heart of a child. Such children will make horrible citizens for a country because they will not appreciate other people's opinions. Therefore, elders can make these basic choices of daily life for their children so that this condition could be avoided.
On the other hand, it is advisable that children must make choices which affect their future. If a child is able to select something that is going to influence his later life, take profession for instance, this makes him a better decision-maker. When ability to make such decisions is developed at a young age, a child can become independent more effortlessly. Decisions, such as choosing life partner, selecting a college or job prospect, which can have significant impact on future life of a child, must be taken by him and him only. This will result in a society full of people who are good decision makers and not dependent on others.
