Afrom the University of Cape Coast, Ghana. My country of origin is Ghana and I am proficient in written and speaking of English. I am open minded person, flexible and can adapt to other cultures and environment easily. Also I am creative and confident. Reading and playing of foot ball are my hobbies.
The B.A. (PFL) course that I studied during my four years studies encompasses nearly all the major fields in social science and health science. The programme broadened my knowledge in – and guided me in systematical researching and analytical thinking. At the university I leant how to develop learning plans on wide range of topics and varying levels of tertiary education. How to concentrate and focus on goals are some of the values I also acquired in my undergraduate studies. It has been of great help to me in co-ling and communicating with people from different cultural background. I had experience in data collection and it analysis. I have also generated concise written synopsis on the trend and levels of maternal mortality in Eastern Region of Ghana during my internship with the national population council of Ghana. My work at the Budget and Public Expenditure Management System section of the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning Ghana, also equipped me with knowledge on information evaluation on budget and public expenditure. I assisted in developing ideals for special workshops. I also acquired extensive experience in internet, Microsoft office, computer programming, SPSS and others.
My ambition to pursue Masters Degree in the field of – well fit my future plans of seeking a career in -. This will assist me in utilizing my optimum capabilities and also fulfill my societal ambition, by helping and handling issues related to - .I am aiming at helping the less fortunate in societies with the knowledge I will gain from the programme.When this happens it will bring me the utmost personal satisfaction in my life. Master Degree in – will enable me acquire more theoretical knowledge, practical skills and become more competitive in the field of – and to also experience other forms of – organization and provision of quality - .
After searching for more information on -, i found a lots of such – offered by different Universities in - , but only one of them attracted me, that is – at - . The University of – have professional lectures, academic facilities that are accredited and adhere to the highest standard of University Education. Their values and objectives would highly complement my own strengths and enthusiasm to achieve my objectives. I am impressed of the Universities high intake of foreign students and this will help to experience other life stile or cultures out side my home country. It innovative and exciting approaches towards learning and teaching, coupled with their highly regarded academic programmes convince me that University of – is the ideal place to pursue my academic career.
As a committed, thoughtful and hard working person in addition to my strong academic base in – I can contribute to the success of the programme by providing the needed information related to the course through the experience gained in my previous studies. Also with my experience from my work place can add more input to the running of the programme by contributing immensely to group work discussions and class work. I hope I will be offered admission to exhibit my capabilities in the programme.
