Are the following sentences correct?



1: He beat me whenever he felt like to it.

2: Please don't spoil my high.
This is OK, but note that 'high' meaning a state of euphoria is a slang expresioin.

Using it makes no sense to me. I feel more comfortable using to, though, as you pointed out, it's incorrect. Can you explain me the reason for using it, not to?

I feel like... needs a noun phrase to follow it when you mean want. However, want does take the infinitive.

I feel like taking a nap = I want to take a nap

...Whenever he felt like hitting me = ...Whenever he wanted to hit me

He beat me whenever he felt like (doing) it. The "it" refers to the action of beating.
