Please Critque A business letter from a laid off employee

0 This is a letter I am thinking of sending the ceo of small software company that recently laid me and many others off. The business contacted me about finishing some work for a customer on contract but the customer is expected to not agree to the price of the project. I wrote the letter to inspire the ceo to hire me back. Names have been removed for personal reasons.02br

00With [biz customer] abstaining from a response respective to the [biz customer project] project, I would like to share with you honestly and openly my interests with [biz].02br

00I still very much would like to finish the [biz customer project] project on a contract basis as we discussed but realize that this is becoming less likely of an option. Furthermore, I understand that circumstances required you to make some tough decisions, and that ultimately your greatest influences in make those decisions was present and future interests of [biz] as thriving business. 02br

00For those same reasons, with the same interests, I believe that making me a full-time part of [biz] is a smart business decision, and that if done would provide a return value to the present and future of [biz] greatly surpassing any immediate financial strain resulting.02br

00I have continued to expand my skills with Cocoon and have begun extensive studies and practice learning and expanding in Java, C++, C# and .NET and will continue to do so. Please know that any technical skills that you would need from me that I do not already possess, I will teach myself at a lighting fast rate of development if only afforded the opportunity to do so. 02br
