Essay & Composition Writing

Please, could you correct my essay?

In developing countries, children in rural communities have less access to education. Some people believe that the problem can be solved by providing more schools and teachers, while others think that the problem can be solved by providing computers and Internet access. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Answer:

Restriction in approaching to education of rural pupils is an important issue which has great impacts on the society. While some people think furnishing modern equipment is the best solution, I believe that teachers and schools play indispensable role in educating children.

On the one hand, there is not any difficulty to understand why providing computers and internet access is necessary. First, at the remote areas, disadvantaged children have to live under poor conditions and do not have the chance to go the school so computers and internets access would bring back a state of the art education mode – online education. This means that pupils could approach an endless amount of humanity knowledge without have any concern about geographic barriers. Second, rural children do not have financial budget to invest on buying a computer or event installing the internet so providing these facilities would help them familiarize themselves with computing skills.

On the other hand, I think that teachers and schools would never be replaced regardless of the advance of technology. This is because teachers always understand children’s ability so they will change their methods to suit their students, in contrast remote education with set programs which have already been installed and hardly change will can not make that thing. Furthermore, erecting schools provide pupils with a productive study environment by interacting and discussing between teachers and students; as well as limiting children’s distraction because children will be stimulated easily, if they learn through internet.

In conclusion, for the reasons mentioned above, it seems to me that building schools and providing teacher will be more effective for children living at the remote areas.
