PLEASE Could someone take a look at the grammar in sentences

Could you please help me correct these sentences?

1 How did people choose the location of the countries capital in the past?
2 You would have to be worried that he had a better hand than you to consider not betting.
3 If only these new phones had the same longevity as those old ones.
4 He has way too familiar a face to go unnoticed in a public place.
5 You might not want to take the car now, but you'll be happy to have a car once your their and want to come back with all the merchandise.
6 There are more people that wait for their TV to die before buying one than people who buy new things on their own.

  • Generally speaking, I'd expect "the" to be used rather than "those".
