Hi everybody,
I wrote out a cover letter and I tried to put it as personal as possible but I am not quite sure about the outcome. Unfortunately, my poor English doesn't give me a hand, so I beg your help!!! Could you check it and give me feedback?
Thanks a lot
Dear…
If you are looking for a young and energetic person who is seeking new challenges I would like to encourage you to consider my application for an internship or entry-level position starting from fall 2006.
My name is Daniele Fraboschi, I am 26 years old and I am Italian.
After having graduated in Law and Economics at the University of Padua in November 2004, I had the opportunity of working for Vodafone Italy in the customer care department where I firstly experienced a fairly passion for marketing issues. My strong attitude for business and marketing topics has always been going forward side by side with the desire to gain an international experience. Thereby, I decided to enforce my economic background by attending an international postgraduate programme (MIEX Master in International Business -
www.miex.unibo.it), co-organized by ICN Grande Ecole de Management de Nancy (France), University of Bologna (Italy), La Salle University (Mexico), and MGIMO Institute (Russia) and ECUST Institute of Shanghai (China).
Once the 6 month teaching period was over, I enthusiastically joined a work team, within a consulting firm, leading to create international marketing plans for small and medium size enterprises. It was last April when I took part of the project and I am still engaged on that. Analysing industrial and customers markets, clients and competitors as well as performing strategic and financial analysis are the main activities I have been involving in. To a large extent, the capabilities I have, so far, acquired are due also to the sophisticated methodological support provided by L.E.K. Consulting (one of the leading worldwide consulting firm).
Although I found myself fitting particularly well into the organization I am working for, I strongly believe that gaining international experience is a necessary step forward to my career aspiration. Now I am not motivated to move abroad because I find it somewhat interesting but because I am devoted to it. Since very long ago, I have never lost sight of my long-term goal: to become an internationalization promoter who attains a management position as international business developer.
I am sure that being entailed at ***, which is well known for its outstanding working standards, represents a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.
I am pleased to supply further information in support of my application and look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
