Please could anyone tell me if a sentence end with a bracket or does it need a full stop as well
I'm sure when I was at school (a very long time ago) that a sentence could end on a bracket but not sure and have a uni assignment with lots of referencing in it which means many sentences end with brackets and I'd rather not get it wrong. Thank you in advance to any who answer, it is much appreciated.

It can end with a bracket if it begins with a bracket: I thought I saw her (but I'm not sure). I though I saw her. )
