Hello ! Could anyone correct my motivation letter? Thank you soo much !!
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am writing to express my deep interest in studying at University of Toronto as an exchange student.
I am currently studying Bachelor' studies programme in International Relations at University of Geneva in Switzerland and I am expecting to receive my diploma in Summer 2012. The International Relationsprogramme in Geneva is a mix of history, economics, political science and law. Having looked through the materials of the Foreign Department of my university, I was very delighted to find the opportunity to spend two semesters at University of Toronto. I have decided to apply for thisexchange programme because I am sure it would strongly enrich my future studies, my personal experience and would help me in my prospective career. Moreover, I consider thisprogramme as a great opportunity to get in touch with another culture and educational system.
I have chosen to apply for University of Toronto for many reasons. Firstly, I was looking for an English speaking country; as my future aim is to work in a field related to the international organization, I am perfectly conscious that speaking English fast perfectly would be an enormous advantage. Of course, having spent six months in an English school in Australia and having passed my Cambridge Certificate of Advanced English, my level is already acceptable. However, I am convinced that further improvements would enable me to speak and write about any economical, political or historical topics more fluently. Moreover, I have heard of the international reputation and quality of the studies of University of Toronto. Secondly, the wide range of courses offered and the diversity of its programmes impressed me. I appreciated also the freedom and facility in making a study plan. Finally, having been a few years ago in Toronto during three days on holidays, I really fell in love with this country and especially this city. Therefore, it would be a unique chance for me to live and study in Toronto. I am very confident that my experience in Toronto would be extremely exciting, fun, and valuable for both my studies and overall general development.
Thank you for considering my request. I look forward to your positive response. Yours faithfully,
Is that bad? Don't hesitate to make any suggestions of content, vocabulary, grammar... thank you
