0 At the beginning of my holidays I went to USA. I decided to try to get 02 br
00 a driver licence. I hoped I wouldn't have bad luck. Several days after 02 br
00 my arrival to USA I went to DMV in New York. I wasn't nervous, I was 02 br
00 rather satisfied. I paid 24$ for the driving licence. I didn't have to 02 br
00 pay extra money or have a check-up. I was only examined with some 02 br
00 clever device. I just had to look in sight and read the letters. That's 02 br
00 all. In DMV I received free driver's textbook with information needed 02 br
00 to pass a theoretical exam. It looked like that: I had to sit in front 02 br
00 of the computer and answer 50 questions. I could have made 10 mistakes, 02 br
00 but I did only 2. I was so happy. After that I had a permission to take 02 br
00 driving lessons. Automatically, the date of my practical exam was 02 br
00 fixed. Since that moment I was driving on the streets, car parks and 02 br
00 practising. The condition was to drive with someone who has the NY 02 br
00 state driving licence. I didn't have to attend this course but I 02 br
00 wanted. After 2 months I entered for an exam with my friend's car. If 02 br
00 somebody hadn't owned it, one could have rented it for 100$. The exam 02 br
00 was very easy, much easier than it is in Poland. The most difficult was 02 br
00 parallel parking, but a parking bay had american size, so I handled it 02 br
00 without a problem. A driving examiner was great. I was driving about 02 br
00 half an hour in the city. Then he ordered me to go to the Subway, so I 02 br
00 did so. It turned out my examiner wanted to buy there a cheesburger, 02 br
00 chips (w amerykańskim angielskim 'fries'), salad and coke. I was very 02 br
00 surprised and I thanked him warmly. My adventure ended with return to 02 br
00 DMV and receiving my driving licence. In my opinion it is easier to 02 br
00 pass driver licence exam in USA than in Poland. 0-
