HI, I would like to send a mail to critical people. Could you please suggest/correct it?
Here it goes.....
I spoke to Mike to understand the development efforts in more detail. The development efforts mentioned below in option 1 (10 Mandays) are based on the assumption that XSL required (Abcd.xsl and xyz.xslt ) are more or less complete but require fixing some issues.
There is one statement in CAbcd.xsl which seems to be lot of concern to me. It says “ Transform doesn't cover every possible participation, and doesn't cover RIM attribute in CDA”.
From the statement, it is obvious that xsl is incomplete. I had a cursory look at the xsl and it looks quite complex and enhancing it will require very sound knowledge of XXX.
I think that the development efforts are largely dependent on state of CAbcd.xsl. If it is fairly complete, then the development efforts will not vary largely than what is mentioned in Option 1. If the xsl is not complete (which I think it is the case), the development and assurance efforts would be lot higher than what we are thinking at the moment.
@Jon: Do you have an idea to what extent CAbcd.xsl and xyz.xslt are complete? If not, would you be in a position to get this info from concerned people?
I think the key to the efforts is extent of completeness of xsl files.
