Please correct this !!

If 2 guys are taking a pic and If I see another person between Them can I say like this

" is there someone in the middle of you guys?"

'If you can see another person between the two guys, why would you need to ask them if someone i in the middle? You can already see that someone is in the middle..

I meant one guy is taking a selfie with his friend and I can see another person between them because the guy looks so creepy that's why I want to make sure that the guy in the middle is thoer from or a ghost lol
