Moragalla Beach Management Committee is the group formed by the Marine Environment Protection Authority, to take Moragalla beach to the internationally acceptable level with the intension of developing this beach as a popular tourist destination in South Asia.
Recently, we are involving to get Blue flag certificate which is international certificate, to the Moragalla Beach. Establishment of Life saving and pollution monitoring post is one of the major requirement of fulfilling international standards. So, Life saving and pollution monitoring post was established by the Sri Lanka Coast Guards with the financial aid of Marine Environment Protection Authority.
The opening ceremony of life saving and pollution monitoring tower will be held on 29th of July 2016 at 9.00 a.m. And also we are planning to ceremonially hand over mobile toilet system which is donated by your institute to local government mobile toilet system which is donated by your organization to the public. With parallel to the opening ceremony, we have made arrangement to conduct beach cleaning programe with the participation of 400 persons.
I respectfully request you to indicate your willingness to assist on this event by providing 400 T shirts and 400 caps or any other contribution you wish to make this programe success.
