Let me write some things about what I might do after I get home. Please correct. Note that this is made-up to get grammatical help.
(still at work but thinking about what I might do after work and possible scenes that might unfold)
When I get home, I might change my clothes to that which is not formal, to visit a friend who lives a few blocks south from my house. I might not go visit him but it's possible that I will go. If I go visit my friend, it is likely that he will talk a little too long about his glorious younger days, highlighting his receipt of many awards and certificates -- and it will be likely that I wiil be bored. During the long, self-exalting talk, he might offer an apple pie, which his wife is known for -- she is known all over the neighborhood for making great apple pies. As far as I know, his wife bakes at least one apple pie in the morning these days and they have some in the morning, and leave the rest for their lunch and dinner. If he does, I know I will take that offer gratefully and try to eat as much as possible, short of risking losing my face.
