Please correct this
Hi, my beloved (?) friend John,
After a few days we will have a new year and will be celebrating a new year. The past year has gone by so fast and I don't think I remember what I did last year. Anyway, thank you for being (having been??) my friend and I am looking to maintain our friendship for many years to come. As you might have noticed already, we have sent out notices to our friends -- which you were included -- telling them we will be having a Christmas party on Christmas eve at our house. It will be a lot of fun. We can meet each other and share holiday moments together. I hope you will join us.
Also, are these expressions correct?
1.I wish a lot of snow in Christmas.
2.Thank you for having taught me many things last year.
3. We have known each other for five years and I am glad we have known each other that many years.
For no. 1, should it be this?
I wish that we have (will have) a lot of snow in Christmas.
