Good evening, all.

I think by the time you receive this e-mail it will be an evening for the most of you. I am sending this e-mail to let you know that I am trying to organize a dinner meeting where there will be a sumptuous dinner at my place and an invited speaker, who will be a world-renown expert in our field. It will be a half-day event starting at 3 p.m. and ends on around 7 p.m. on September 15th. To cover the expenses running this event, I am obliged to put up a cover charge of 10,000 won for each person: it will cover the cost of dinner and also, the cost of inviting the speaker to speak for us. If you want to bring your spouse, the same amount has to be paid for your other-half too.

As you know, to get the speaker of this caliber to fly into the country, in addition to paying him an appropriate amont of gratuity, a person usually has to pay his airfare and provide comfortable hotel accommodation. For good news, for those attending, you will have rare opportunity to talk with the speaker after he finishes speaking for a short period of time.

For those who decide to attend, these are recommended:

Please, try to:

1. wear semi-formal attire,

2. arrive in time to help us run the event smoothly,

3. bring no child along (If you have to, please let me know in advance so I can arrange suitable accommodation).

If any of you are interested, please deposit 10,000 won by September 1st via a bank transfer. After you have sent the required sum, please write me an e-mail to confirm your transfer. Once I have your confirmation-request e-mail, I will send you more information.

I hope many of you will decide to attend.

Best wishes,

Believer

Here's how I'd write it. Note that there's no symbol next to the amount you're charging as a cover fee (10,000). Normally, you would have something like $ 10.
