Please correct these questions

Hi teachers,
According to this paragraph:
Three kilometres from the town Alex came to a road. He crossed the road quickly but a lorry came along at the same time. The lorry slowed down and the driver called out to him, Where are you going?

1. How far away from the town did Alex find a road? Three kilometres away.
2. What appeared /showed up on the road? A lorry.
3. Did the driver speed up when he saw Alex? No, he didn’t. He slowed down.
