Please correct the sentence: Memorial services

Hi teachers,

Would you take a look at the paragrah I wrote? Please help correct the tenses and the choice of words I used. Thank you.

Jane has lost her mother to cancer on a Tuesday, a very long and painful battle she and her mother has engaged has finally come to an end for her. She is overwelmed with the sense of loss, which she couldn't describe the word "loss" itself. For almost every day for a year, she'd been very strong and tried not to shed a tear in front of her mother, putting on funny shows for mother, lest striping her the last breath of happiness she might've ever had. She knew that her mother was going to heaven, where a place has no more tears and pain, a place simply she believes she'd eventually reunite with her mother.

At the memorial on a Saturday, Jane is at the pulpit, giving the eulogy. "There is not a day do I not miss her, she was a tendering mother, a wonderful daughter-in-law and she was my friend all my life. She has fought a beautiful battle. Now she was sent Home by angels of God and lives forever in the court of His garden."

Thank you.
