Hi everybody,#1 If were a president, I would increase... #2 Suppose I am a president, I would/will increase...#3 Assume I am a president. I would/will increase...Are #2 and #3 equivalent to #1? Please correct the mistakes, if anyThank you

#2 Suppose I am a president, I would/will increase...

#3 Assume I am a president. I would/will increase...

'. . . a president' sounds odd to me. President of what? A country? A small company?
I'd say in every example, eg If I were President (of the US / of a country)

Here's what sounds good to me.

#1 If were a president, I would increase...

#2 Suppose I am a president. I will increase...
Supposing I were President, I would increase

#3 Assume I am a president. I will increase..
Asuing I am President, I wil increase.

Are #2 and #3 equivalent to #1? Basically, #1 and #2 sound the same to me.

#3 sounds a bit different. 'Assume' is like 'treat it as if it is real'.
