Please correct the letter

Hi,

I am sending this letter to my letting agency, as they are charging me unfairly.

----------------------------------------

This is with refeerence to a letter, I received from you regarding reimpursement of payment.

I mentioned below, that there was water leakage in the bathroom at XYZ…...

I can remember that there was a water leakage. I am 100% sure about that. Since the bathroom work was going on, I collected the water in the bucket to avoid damages to the new bathroom. When I mention this to the plumbers, who were renovating the bathroom, they asked me to get in touch with, which I did. At that time, I was not informed that I will have to share the expense in case they is not fault with in the upper flat bathroom.

I was surpised to know that you have asked me to share the exepses !!!!!I. I do not feel that I need to share the burdern of the expenses. As there was a water leakage from the upper flat, I am sure how once can say there was no leakage. Since I was not involved in their investigation, I cannot say anything about it.

What I can say is that there was a water leakage, when I menition it . Please note that this was not the first time it happened. It happeded with me, I think 2/3 times and I did report promptly. Due to delayed action from the landlord, the bathoom at the ground floor was full of leakage from the upper flat. The leakage was all over my bathroom, including bulbs. As a result, I could not use the bathroom(This happened sometimes in 2007). This casued high inconvennence to me as well as the landlord.

I frankly do not think that I should share expenses for the investigation. If you believe, then I should have been informed it earlier and I could have taken few photos as a prof. Since I was not informed about it nor was asked about it, I did not took photos.

I am afraid, I will not share these expenses.

I think I'm a little confused about the situation. Was water leaking in YOUR bathroom or was it in a neighbor's bathroom and leaking into yours? I'll go ahead and start correcting though as best I can.
