Please correct the leave request for marriage

Hi XYZ,

I am glad to inform you that my marriage has been arranged for the DD of [Month] [yyyy].

I would like to request leave from dd [Month] to dd [Month] ,
as it might not be possible before DD to connect from home with the relatives coming and days nearing to
the marriage; and also in order that I may attend our marriage reception on [x] [month] at my husband's
home town (aaaa), also their family gathering and wedding ceremony at their grandfather's village.
We will be returning back to my home place (bbbb) and we have some rituals to be performed here.
One major problem here is that we will be in travel for almost x days, so planning tentatively to cover this as well.
Thank you very much for your consideration of my request.

I would also like to request to allow me to work from home for the month of [Month]
as to help my parents in the arrangements, and also as i was not keeping well for quite sometime,
i would want to have proper medication and food from home to keep myself fit and fine during the marriage.
I hope you will understand my concern. Please advise

Thank you very much. I am looking forward to your reply.

Sincerely,
Me

Hi XYZ,

I am getting married next year on Feb. 22. I am requesting to take leave from Feb. 8 until Mar. 12. This may seem like a long time, but I need the extra time for planning, travel and family celebrations.
