I want to write an email to my managing director for not increasing my sales target. ( a new order received in February and he wants to increase my sales target. But the target is already finalized in September 2017)

"As you are aware 80% of the business we are doing in India is opportunity business. There may be some variations/unexpected orders/unexpected loss. For an example, We had budgeted 90 lakhs for Toyota for 2015 during our budget meeting in September 2014. We had known early in February that this sale would not happen. But we did not remove this loss from the budget. As a result there was a deep affect in my performance score.

It would be my kind request that not to change the target which has already been signed in September 2017."
