Please correct the following text:

Why is it compulsory to have some prerequisite education in order to study for some degree course? In other words, if someone wants to do master's degree then why is it compulsory for him to be a graduate? If he is given a chance and he passes his master's without having any bachelor's degree, then this means that he is a much better student than his contemporaries who have bachelor's degrees.
